Nikki Amuka-Bird

Nikki is a BAFTA nominated actress having been recognized for her work in BBC’s NW. She’s currently leading the thriller, I, JACK WRIGHT. She recently wrapped working on HERE for Robert Zemekis alongside Tom Hanks, and is currently a co-lead alongside Cate Blanchett in the upcoming A24 feature RUMOURS which premiered at CANNES 2024.

Nikki is the lead in independent thriller JERICHO RIDGE, as well as M Night Shyamalan’s KNOCK AT THE CABIN, a director with which she has worked with previously on Universal’s OLD. 

She can be seen in CITADEL for Amazon and returned for the second series as one of the leads of Armando Iannucci’s AVENUE 5 alongside Hugh Laurie for HBO.

Recent credits include Carrie Cracknell’s PERSUASION for Netlfix, THE OUTFIT alongside Mark Rylance which premiered at Berlin Film Festival, Disney’s THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELDonce again working with director Armando Iannucci, BBC miniseries GOLD DIGGER, Steven Soderbergh’s celebrated feature THE LAUNDROMAT, BBC crime thriller HARD SUN alongside Jim Sturgess and Agyness Dean, and QUARRY for Cinemax/HBO.

Other film credits include THE CHILDREN ACT alongside Emma Thompson, directed by Richard Ayre, as well as JUPITER ASCENDING alongside Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum.

Nikki’s extensive stage credits include leading roles at the National Theatre, Royal Court Theatre, RSC and  at the Donmar Warehouse in Ibsen’s THE LADY FROM THE SEA.
