Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen

Lucas is currently shooting Danish feature MECENATEN, and will soon be seen as the lead in Michael Radford’s WWII thriller DESPERATE JOURNEY, and in David Verbeek’s THE WOLF, THE FOX AND THE LEOPARD. He starred as KRESTER in the Netflix series 1899 from the creators of DARK, alongside Emily Beecham and Andreas Pietschmann. He’s previously known for starring in the Netflix series THE RAIN and in the Danish series BORGEN alongside Sidse Babett Knudsen. Lucas has also starred in DEPARTMENT Q: THE KEEPER OF LOST CAUSES, the Danish series TIDSREJSEN and made his acting debut in CIRKUS SUMMARUM, playing one of the leading roles BUSTER. Lucas is originally from Copenhagen.
