A graduate of The Lir Academy in Dublin, Cillian’s recent television credits include Chris O’Dowd’s SMALL TOWN BIG STORY for Sky Originals and THE WOMAN IN THE WALL, with Ruth Wilson and Daryl McCormack (BBC/ Showtime). He appears alongside Chris Walley, Lila Coleman and Patrick Martins in FALLING FOR THE LIFE OF ALEX WHELAN and SPECTACULAR directed by Willem Bosch and Pieter Kuijpers. He recently appeared in the feature WHITETAIL, directed by Nanouk Leopold.
His theatre credits include Martin McDonagh’s THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE, directed by Andrew Flynn for the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, WAITING FOR THE OFFO directed by Conan McIvor; STAGING THE TREATY written by Theo Dorgan and directed by Louise Lowe; DUBLINERS directed by Annie Ryan for Smock Alley and the Corn Exchange; Sebastian Barry’s THE STEWARD OF CHRISTENDOM directed by Louise Lowe for the Gate Theatre; and A VERY OLD MAN WITH ENORMOUS WINGS alongside Karen McCartney, directed by Dan Colley and most recently, LITTLE WOMEN directed by Emily Foran and Terry George’s THE TUNNELL at the Lyric Theatre.
