Danish actress Fanny Bornedal stars in the leading role of Emma in NIGHTWATCH – DEMONS ARE FOREVER which opened at the BFI London Film Festival in October and for which she has recently been nominated for the prestigious Bodil Award. Bornedal was also nominated for a Danish Academy Award for her role Teresa in THE SHADOW IN MY EYE, about the accidental bombing of a school in Copenhagen during WWII . She plays troubled dancer Sapphire opposite Trine Dyrholm in Christoffer Boe’s FACE TO FACE II and can also be seen in Danish-series CARMEN CURLERS as Kathrine and DEPARTMENT Q: THE PURITY OF VENGEANCE, for which she was also nominated for a Danish Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other titles include BORGEN – POWER & GLORY, EQUINOX and THAT TIME OF THE YEAR.
