Andrew Howard

Andrew has just wrapped Christopher Nolan’s THE ODYSSEY opposite Matt Damon, playing Polites – marking his second collaboration with Nolan after TENET. He will next be seen in the upcoming Amazon thriller STEAL with Sophie Turner and star as the fading porn star Wayne Savage in BAFTA winner Muriel d’Ansembourg’s debut feature TRULY NAKED and can currently be seen in the Marvel series ECHO.

Andrew is known for his role alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in the hit film LIMITLESS. Recent credits include the Oscar-winning film TWO DISTANT STRANGERS for Netflix directed by Travon Free and Martin Desmond Roe; HBO series PERRY MASON alongside Matthew Rhys and John Lithgow; and the critically acclaimed series WATCHMEN for Damon Lindelof opposite Regina King.

He has had leading roles in the Taylor Sheridan series MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN for Paramount+ opposite Jeremy Renner and BATES MOTEL, as well as the multi-Emmy-winning HATFIELDS & McCOYS alongside Kevin Costner. Andrew recently reunited with Costner for HORIZONS 2 and starred alongside Glenn Close in the award-winning THE LION IN WINTER.

Other film and television work includes TAKEN and ANNA (both directed by Luc Besson for Netflix), TRUE MEMOIRS OF AN INTERNATIONAL ASSASSIN, THE CHERRY ORCHARD, SHOOTERS (which Andrew also co-wrote), AGENTS OF SHIELD, LIZZIE BORDEN, UNDER MILK WOOD, BANSHEE, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, THE HANGOVER 2, and BAND OF BROTHERS.

Theatre credits include Alex DeLarge in A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, Orestes in ELECTRA at the Donmar Warehouse, and Darkie in CARDIFF EAST at the Royal National Theatre – the latter earning him the Ian Charleson Award.

He is the recipient of four Best Acting awards, including honours from the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Deauville American Film Festival.
