Jonny Coyne

Jonny can currently be seen in THE FAMILY PLAN with Mark Wahlberg. He recently shot a role in season 3 of Disney’s THE MANDALORIAN and appears in BODIES for Netflix. He was nominated for a SAG ensemble award for his co-starring role in Netflix’s feature MA RAINEY’S BLACK BOTTOM (the adaptation of August Wilson’s play), produced by Denzel Washington and starring opposite Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman. Also in film, Coyne appeared alongside John Hamm and Rosamund Pike in Brad Anderson’s political thriller BEIRUT, and he had a supporting role in Dan Gilroy’s NIGHTCRAWLER. In television, Coyne played the lead villain across season five of NBC’s drama THE BLACKLIST, going head-to-head with James Spader’s character. He had a major recurring role on AMC’s supernatural dramedy PREACHER, playing the iconic character “Allfather” from the original comic book series. Other work includes recurring roles on TURN (AMC), MOM (CBS) and a Series Regular role as “Warden James” in JJ Abrams’ FOX series ALCATRAZ. Jonny is British and has his US Green Card.
