Jonny Coyne

Jonny has just wrapped a leading role in Disney’s upcoming film of THE MANDALORIAN and recently appeared in THE FAMILY PLAN for Apple and BODIES for Netflix. He was nominated for a SAG ensemble award for his co-starring role in Netflix’s feature MA RAINEY’S BLACK BOTTOM (the adaptation of August Wilson’s play), produced by Denzel Washington and starring opposite Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman. Also in film, Coyne appeared alongside John Hamm and Rosamund Pike in Brad Anderson’s political thriller BEIRUT, and he had a supporting role in Dan Gilroy’s NIGHTCRAWLER. In television, Coyne played the lead villain across season five of NBC’s drama THE BLACKLIST, going head-to-head with James Spader’s character. He had a major recurring role on AMC’s supernatural dramedy PREACHER, playing the iconic character “Allfather” from the original comic book series. Other work include recurring roles on TURN (AMC), MOM (CBS) and a Series Regular role as “Warden James” in JJ Abrams’ FOX series ALCATRAZ. Jonny is British and has his US Green Card.
