Faraz starred in BFI Director Moin Hussein’s debut feature film, SKY PEALS, which was nominated at both the London and Venice Film Festivals in 2023.
In television, Faraz is well-known for his role as Ali Shah in SCREW for Channel 4, which earned a BAFTA Scotland nomination. Other notable TV credits include BODYGUARD for BBC/Netflix, ACKLEY BRIDGE for Channel 4, THE CAPTURE for BBC/NBC, SUSPICION for Apple TV+ and GIRI/HAJI produced by Sister Pictures. He previously played significant roles as Fawad in SILENT WITNESS and DC Deepak Kapoor in the BBC’s acclaimed LINE OF DUTY, he also appeared in SPOOKS for the BBC and COMING UP for Channel 4. Film credits include the lead in Shan Khan’s debut film HONOUR as well as DER KOCH, based on Martin Suter’s bestselling novel.
