Numan Acar

Numan Acar is a Turkish/German actor. His breakthrough role was in Showtime’s Emmy and Golden Globe winning series HOMELAND as Hassaim Haqqani.

He will will soon appear in Rupert Wyatt’s DESERT WARRIOR and in upcoming feature THE WAY OF THE WIND, an epic drama written and directed by Terrence Malick and opposite Matthias Schoenaerts. His other film credits include Disney’s ALADDIN directed by Guy Ritchie, SPIDER MAN: FAR FROM HOME as Dimitry, the Golden Globe and Cannes winning feature IN THE FADE opposite Diane Kruger, 12 STRONG directed by Nicolai Fugis, THE PROMISE by Terry George and THE GREAT WALL by Zhang Yimou opposite Matt Damon.  He reprised his recurring role on the most recent season of Amazon’s JACK RYAN opposite John Krasinski. Other television credits include Amazon’s LORE and FOX’s hit series PRISON BREAK.  Numan speaks several languages – his native tongues, Turkish and German, along with English, some Spanish and Arabic.
