Numan Acar is a Turkish/German actor. He has multiple projects due for release in 2026 including YOUNG SHERLOCK for director Guy Ritchie, alongside Joe Fiennes and Colin Firth, a leading role in Neil Forsythe’s LEGENDS for Netflix, HOTEL TEHRAN for Dreamtime, Rupert Wyatt’s DESERT WARRIOR, Terrence Malick’s upcoming feature THE WAY OF THE WIND and BUTTERFLY starring alongside Renate Reinsve.
His breakthrough role was in Showtime’s Emmy and Golden Globe winning series HOMELAND as Hassaim Haqqani. Other television credits include reprising his recurring role on the most recent season of Amazon’s JACK RYAN opposite John Krasinski, Amazon’s LORE and FOX’s hit series PRISON BREAK.
